由加拿大中文電台主辦的第 21 屆加拿大中文歌曲創作大賽（SQ21），以「歌創太極」為口號，代表音樂的想像無窮無盡，無始無終；曲和詞既可相輔相成，不同種類的音樂亦能互相啟發，令音樂的發展得以生生不息。 SQ21 已鐵定邀得香港殿堂級樂隊太極的兩位主要成員 - 主音歌手 Patrick 雷有輝和結他手 Joey 鄧建明，在 5 月 26 日 SQ21 決賽當晚擔任特別表演嘉賓。

The 21st Canadian Chinese Song-Writers Quest (SQ21) is back with tremendous force, the force of Tai Chi! Patrick Lui @ Tai Chi and Joey Tang @ Tai Chi are confirmed to showcase their classic yet modern tunes at the finale of SQ21 on May 26, 2017. Tai Chi is widely considered as one of the most successful and influential Cantonese music bands in Hong Kong.
